Magic Tools in Canva

Great learning tonight from a Toolkit led by Casper Kruger. Using Magic Studio. Here is what I made using Casper’s image template.

Here are my animations using only 15 slides. What could I do better?

I have been learning about how to use my chromebook.

I learnt how to use shortcuts, .e.g Ctrl>Shift> QQ.

Do you know what this shortcut does?

I had a go at creating a Google Vid. I like the templates and being able to drop in videos. The built-in script for recording is easy to use.

I like the usual Google integration of tools for tamariki and kaiako. The Share button is also great as it means we can collaborate.

Have a go at creating your own at Vids.new.

We were learning about polyline profiles. It was hard to make an image that looked like me. It takes a long time.

Have you ever tried using polyline?

I was learning to use WeVideo to create a video about blog commenting.

As we were just beginning to use WeVideo we uploaded images and learnt about titles, transitions, narration, background audio….

What do you think I can improve?

We are learning about whakataukī. I used a gradient on the Word art to get the desired effect in my Google Drawing.

I chose this whakataukī as it is about all doing the mahi and we will do well together.

This is another favourite whakataukī of mine.

I’m testing some Image Galleries.

This uses a carousel creator that is available once a Jetpack plug-in is added to the blog.

This is created using a meta slider plugin. I then add the images to a slideshow. There are several themes to choose from.
